Rushworth Kindergaten and Childcare
The Rushworth Kindergarten was established in 1969. 1990, the Waranga Community Centre opened childcare facilities at the kindergarten’s premises. An extension to the building was added in 1992 to accommodate the Waranga Community Occasional Childcare Centre.
In 1995, the kindergarten and childcare centres amalgamated to operate as the Rushworth Kindergarten and Childcare Inc. (RKCC).
The RKCC serves the rural town of Rushworth and the surrounding districts. The kindergarten offers a combined 3- and 4-year-old group. The service also offers Occasional Care.
As of 27 December 2025, Rushworth Kindergarten and Childcare joined Goulburn Region Preschool Association (GRPSA) under their Early Years Management organisation.
Each child is safe, secure and has a sense of belonging.
Service is a nature-inspired, home-like environment.
