GRPSA is committed to providing a child safe environment where all children are safe and feel safe, and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives.

Particular attention is paid to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as the safety of children with a disability. All persons involved in GRPSA have a responsibility to understand the important and specific role they play as an individual and also a member of a collective group. This is to ensure that the well-being and safety of all children underpins everything we do.

GRPSA has been educating children since 1988, with the goal of creating a safe, exciting, engaging environment for children, families and educators. Goulburn Region Preschool Association is a not-for-profit Early Years Management organisation funded by the State Government.

Early Years management reduces the administrative pressures on volunteer parent committees by handling the staffing, licensing requirements and financial responsibilities associated with managing a kindergarten.

GRPSA is overseen by a volunteer Board, with authority delegated to the CEO, who is responsible for the operations of the organisation.

GRPSA Board is comprised of parent and community members who have been elected by the members of the Association. The administration and staff of GRPSA are as follows: CEO Ronni Druitt, Early Childhood Managers Robyn Trickey and Corina McLeod, and Administration staff Amanda Brown, Leonie Wren, Tess Wilkinson, Jodie Daniel and Carol McFadzean.

    Early Years Management.

Early Years Management (EYM) was introduced by the Department of Education and Training (DET) in 2016 to replace Kindergarten Cluster Management (KCM). Early Years Managers have expertise in the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care services. For more information, please see the DET website: Early Years Management (education.vic.gov.au)

The move towards EYM is designed to reduce the management and administrative burden on volunteer committees and support kindergartens/centres so they can continually increase their service standards.
